Hltb oddmar11/30/2023 ![]() ![]() It's a slightly better than average but pretty by-the-book 2D platformer with some pretty great art. Oddmar struggles with life in his village and is not worthy of a place in Valhalla. It's surely better than 98% of mobile shovelware out there but it's also no Shovel Knight. Find out how much time you have left to complete your entire video game backlog on Steam. It's not bad and it's probably worth the $5 if you like the genre. Has a gorgeous hand-drawn art style and controls smoothly. Less challenge, less variety, less to do. An interesting mix of Rayman and Donkey Kong Country mechanics. It feels like a whole lot like a simplified Rayman Legends. ![]() It's pretty good but if this is our shining example, I don't hold out a ton of hope of mobile gaming ever being great beyond emulation and a few source ports. After playing it, I understand the comparisons: similar art and gameplay to Rayman. I find the idea very good, you could theoretically add it on Steam in the store page of a game or in the library. But so far I put that off because web scraping is unethical in my opinion and if I have to do it I make sure to limit my impact as good as I can: Get stuff only once (caching) and rate limit the hell out of it.
