She is also survived by her two sisters, Terry (Richard) Eckner of Newark, NY and Ellen (David) Laurenza of Bristol NY and sister in law Gail Lockwood Imig of Cudjoe Key, FL and numerous cousins, close friends, family and acquaintances. She will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed. Joanne will be greatly missed by her loving husband Ed, her son Tim of Cudjoe Key, and her daughter Christine of Victor. Joanne was an exceptionally strong women who met life’s challenges with acceptance, courage and spirit. ![]() She loved teaching and had a passion and appreciation for nature and a special place in her heart for animals. Family and friends were very important to her. She had a tremendous capacity to love and enjoy life. All Creatures Big and Small is a section 501 (c) (3) pet rescue group, incorporated in Aug 2003, with years of animal and rescue experience amongst our volunteers. the organization seeks to protect and improve the lives of relinquished, impounded. Joanne and Ed were abroad again in 2011 in Abu Dhabi where Joanne substitute taught in various international schools. is a pet rescue organization operated by volunteers in the jefferson and oswego counties of new york state. Upon their return to the US, they made their home in Victor NY where Joanne taught first grade for 10 years at the Primary School. The family lived in the Philippines from 1986 to 1993 for Ed’s employer, Harris Corporation. They were proud parents of son, Timothy Miles Lockwood and daughter, Christine Marie Lockwood. She later earned a masters degree in education from the University of the Philippines in Manila, after which she taught 3rd and 4th grade at International School Manila (ISM) for several years. She worked at Nixon Hargrave Law firm before being employed at Eastman Kodak for ten years. Joanne grew up in Newark, NY, and graduated from Newark High School in 1971 and SUNY Cortland in 1975. 318 Stone St, Watertown, NY 13601 is an apartment unit listed for rent. Joanne was born January 20, 1953, in Clifton Springs, NY, a much loved daughter of Robert F. Pets for Adoption at All Creatures Big And Small, Inc. Joanne M Lockwood passed away unexpectedly on Januat Thompson Memorial Hospital in Canandaigua NY. ![]()
